List of Oceans

Artic Ocean Arctic Ocean
Located in the Northern Hemisphere and mostly in the Arctic north polar region, is the smallest, and shallowest of the world's five major oceanic divisions. Sometimes considered a sea of the Atlantic, and washes upon northern North America and Eurasia.
Atlantic Ocean Atlantic Ocean
The Atlantic Ocean is the second-largest of the world's oceanic divisions covering approximately 22% of Earth's surface. Separates the Americas from Eurasia and Africa.
Indian Ocean Indian Ocean
Is the third largest of the world's oceanic divisions, covering about 20% of the water on the Earth's surface. It is bounded by Indian subcontinent, East Africa, Indochina, the Sunda Islands, Australia and by the Southern Ocean. It is the only ocean to be named after a country i.e. India.
Pacific Ocean Pacific Ocean
Is the largest of all five ocean covering 30% of total Earth surface and almost 46% of total water surface of Earth. Separates Asia and Australia from the Americas.
Southern Ocean Southern Ocean
Also known as Antarctic Ocean, sometimes considered an extention of Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans[6], which covers the waters that surround Antarctica.
